Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Cine Award 2014 is all set to be organized at Gopal Maidan on 30th August under the aegis of All India Santhali Film Association (AISFA).
Chief Minister Hemant Soren will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Tata Steel MD TV Narendran and vice president (corporate services) Sunil Bhaskaran have also been invited to the event.
Lifetime achievement award will be given to persons having contributed to the growth of Santhali films and arts. Cash prize of Rs 25,000 will be given to the awardees.
Horo Prasad Murmu will be given lifetime achievement award posthumously. Two more people will get AISFA special award. The award ceremony will be inaugurated in The Milanee on 25th August.
This was informed by Surendra Tudu, general secretary of AISFA. The Santhali films will be shown to the jury at Kala Mandir.
