Ranchi: The Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Alka Tiwari casted her vote at the Pink booth number 373 in Dhurwa as part of the ongoing second phase of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections.
Voting is taking place in 38 constituencies across the state. Tiwari was welcomed at the booth, where she participated in the democratic process. After voting, Tiwari addressed the media, urging citizens to exercise their right to vote. She said, “Everyone should vote. It is their right. If you do not vote, then you do not have the right to complain about the government you get.”
She encouraged people to step out of their homes and participate in the election process, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling civic duties. Voting is still underway in the constituencies of Khijri and Silli in Ranchi.
