Hike in grant for madrasas and sanskrit schools
Ranchi, January 10: The Jharkhand cabinet on Tuesday approved to increase the ex-gratia payment to bring the dead body of the migrant labourers to their home who die a natural death or due to any accident. The government will pay Rs. 25000 to the family of such deceased labourers.
“In the event of a natural disaster/accident, the scheme of survey and rehabilitation of pre-run interstate migrant laborers for the purpose of bringing the dead body of the deceased migrant laborer to their native place and providing financial assistance, the condition of normal death of migrant laborers of Jharkhand an approval was given on the proposal to provide the benefit of this scheme,” said a release issued by state public relation department.
The cabinet also approved for free call facility up to Rs.1500 for retired Chief Justices and retired judges of Jharkhand High Court in addition to the free call number estimated by the telephone authority.
The cabinet approved Government of India undertaking Sarvasree MSTC Ltd., Kolkata extension of of contract for e-auction platform services for auction of minor minerals.
Approval was given for the fee fixation/revision of the Special Government Advocate appointed by the State Government for the Honorable Revenue Board, Ranchi.
In the academic session 2013-14, the state share and state plan amount to the printers of printed / supplied free text books for classes 1 to 8 Rs 16.519 crore was approved for payment.
Approval was given for bringing approved Sanskrit schools and approved madrasas located under the category of grant under the state of Jharkhand.
Partial amendment in Jharkhand Child Development Project Officer Service/Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service Conditions) Rules, 2018 read with Jharkhand Child Development Project Officer Service/Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules, 2019 Approval was given for the formation of Jharkhand Child Development Project Officer Service/Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules, 2022.*
Approval was given for the formation of Statute-2020 for the conduct of (nomination and fee fixation) in private and government B.Ed. colleges operating under the state of Jharkhand and minimum qualification for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in Universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education-2021; in pursuance to UGC Regulations.
Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase-III Batch-I year 2022-23 (Upgradation) approved by Government of India for the construction of 336 roads and 143 bridges, in addition to Rs. 262 crores and due to the provision of higher specification in certain roads, an additional amount of Rs. 167 crores totaling Rs. 429 crores was approved from the state share item of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
With retrospective effect, the one-member judicial commission constituted to resolve the complex law and facts contained in the investigation report of irregularities in appointments and promotions in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Secretariat was approved.
