Ranchi: In the Jharkhand Cabinet meeting scheduled for today at 4 pm, significant proposals for Ranchi’s development will be presented. A proposal outlining the construction of the Harmu flyover is expected to be a focal point of discussion during the session. Additionally, there will be considerations for allocating land for Hotel Taj in Ranchi Smart City.
The proposed Harmu flyover, spanning 3.528 km, is projected to incur a cost of Rs 487 crore. It is designed as a four-lane structure, with one ramp extending towards Harmu Chowk and another leading to Kadru. The flyover will commence from the ACB office (located behind Raj Bhavan) on Kanke Road, traverse the elevated corridor at Ratu Road intersection, and culminate at Sahajanand Chowk. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity and infrastructure in the capital city.
