Nod of Rs 337.50 Cr for construction of 4-lane flyover in Ranchi, tourism and municipal park policy
Ranchi, February 10: Hemant Soren led Jharkhand cabinet on Thursday approved the Rs 47.29 crore for widening/reconstruction of Potka-Kudada and Sundernagar-Narwa Main Road-Damudih road.
The 20.35 km road construction work would be transferred from Rural Works Department to Road Construction Department.
This apart approval was given for widening and strengthening/reconstruction of “Pindarbera (on Adityapur-Kandra road)-Burudih-Kerala Public School (Gamharia) Main Road (total length-16.331 km) under Seraikela-Kharsawan district, from Rural Works Department to Road Construction Department Administrative approval of Rs.25,02,66,000.
Approval was also given for construction of a four-lane flyover in the state capital Ranchi worth Rs 337.50 Crores that will ease out traffic snarl. The four-lane flyover elevated will be 2.34 km long and will cover the stretch of Siramtoli Chowk, Rajendra Chowk, and Mecon.
The cabinet passed 63 proposals from different departments and also sanctioned funds worth over Rs 100 Crores to improve road infrastructure namely in the districts like Godda, Gumla and others. Notably, the cabinet approved a budget of Rs 50.77 Crores for the construction of the district collectorate building in Gumla.
The cabinet also gave post-event approval of Jharkhand Tourism Policy and Jharkhand Municipal Park policy.
The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave permission to the welfare department to sign a tripartite MoU involving the state welfare department, forest, and climate change, and the Bharti Institute of Public – Indian School of Business (BIPP-ISB) and tripartite MoU approved under the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights-Recognition of Forest Righs) Act, 2006 in the state of Jharkhand.
Approval has been given to amend the Chief Minister’s Medha Scholarship Scheme.
Approval has been given to issue caste certificate online as well as offline.
Cabinet secretary, Vandana Dadel who briefed the media about the cabinet meeting said that the twin department of the government along with this business school will develop a mechanism to provide training to entrepreneurs of the weaker section in processing non-timber products as well as its value addition.
The cabinet increased the dearness allowance of the contractual employees from 113 percent to 196 percent. The cabinet gave post facto sanction for the expenditure of Rs 61 Crores for the construction of farmers’ schools (kissan pathshala) across Jharkhand. In the first phase, as many as 15 schools will be set up to impart education to farmers in the latest farming technologies. These farmers’ schools are proposed under the Birsa Village Development Scheme.
The cabinet sanctioned Rs 1.28 Crore as commission to PDS (ration) dealers under Sona Sobran Sari Dhoti Vitran Yojana. Under this scheme, the BPL family gets a sari and dhoti twice a year. Dadel said that said amount has been earmarked as commission to dealers. There are 64 lakh BPL families enrolled under this scheme.
The cabinet set a target of 2023 to ensure that every house of Jharkhand gets an electricity connection.
To protect the interests of common depositors in the state of Jharkhand, to prevent fraudulent defaults by financial establishments and to provide relief to the depositors in case of default in the return of deposits, “Jharkhand Deregulated Deposit Scheme Prohibition Rules” 2021 has been approved.
Rules constituted for the appointment of clerk / clerk-cum-typist / typist cadre personnel for the regional office under the Department of Water Resources, issued by the Departmental Notification No.-843, dated-12.02.2021. Amendment in the light of “Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Examination (Intermediate / 10+2 Level Computer Knowledge and Hindi Typing Qualification holder in Computer) Operation (Amendment) Rules, 2021 constituted vide notification number-3848, dated-10.08.2021.
