Ranchi, September 14: Jharkhand cabinet at a meeting in Ranchi approved a proposal for creation of e-FIRs police stations in 22 districts of the state.
“The state cabinet has notified for construction of e-FIR thanas in all the 22 districts except Ramgarh and Khunti. Now people will not have to go to thanas for lodging of complaints and FIR but can do it online from the comforts of their homes,” said Jharkhand cabinet secretary Vandana Dadel.
To amend certain sections of the Jharkhand Panchayat Raj Act, 2001, the approval of the Executive Committee constituted in the light of the provisions of the Ordinance and the Ordinance was given.
The cabinet also approved creation of a Jharkhand State Juvenile Justice Fund (Constitution, Operation and Implementation Rules-2021) and a saving banks account would be operational at State Bank of India.
“It will enable donations and funds for rehabilitation of child who have been victim of trafficking etc,” said a source in the state cabinet.
Under the Urban Electrification Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) of the Government of India, by the Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, 33/11 K.B. Approval was given to transfer 0.4519 acres of land free of cost for the construction of Vidyut Shakti Sub-station.
Cabinet also approved installation of statue of three tribal freedom fighters (Poto Ho, Bhagirath Majhi, and Ganga Narayan Singh) in the Birsa Munda Museum under construction in the Birsa Munda Jail Complex located in the capital Ranchi. The installation work would be done by renowned sculpture M/s Ram V Sutar Art Creations Pvt. Ltd.
Approval was given for creation of posts of subordinate employees/officers in the establishment of sub-divisional court constituted in Untari sub-division of town under Garhwa district.
Cabinet gave nod for improving riding quality and strengthening of Govindpur-Sahebganj Road (State Highway-18) (total length – 58.26 km) for Rs. 46,20,58,400
In addition an revised at an amount of Rs 44 crore 4 lakh 95 thousand only for the construction of road over bridge in place of level crossing number-141 between Tata-Adityapur station was also approved. The amount of state share is Rs.28 crore 98 lakh 69 thousand 204 only for the implementation of road over bridge in the railway portion. And the remaining amount was given revised administrative approval by the state government for the construction of the approaches.
The cabinet also nodded amendment of “Jharkhand Excise (Settlement and Operation of Shops for Retail Sale of Liquor) Rules, 2018”, the revenue target fixed for the month of May for the financial year 2021-22 has been fixed for that month. Post-facto approval was given on the proposal to fix the actual offtake or 50% of the product revenue target (whichever is the highest) to help liquor traders tide over losses incurred due to Covid restrictions.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, for the period from July 2021 to November 2021, 5 kg of food grains per beneficiary per month for free distribution to the beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act 2013, the possible expenditure amount for the transportation, handling and distribution of food grains 141.57 Approval of only Rs. crore was given.*
Approval of Jharkhand Highway Fee (Determination and Collection of Rates) Amendment Rules, 2021 has been given in which vehicles carrying mines will now have to pay taxes in designated roads.
Administrative approval of total estimated amount of Rs.80.75 crore (out of which rooftop power plant) for selecting and developing the city of the state as solar city in the light of guidelines of Energy Ministry. Approval was given to develop Giridih as a solar city in the first phase with beneficiaries being given 40% central and state share of 60%.
Approval was given to amend the resolution regarding the formation of Jharkhand State Administrative Reforms Commission.
