Ranchi: Preparations for the Jharkhand Budget Session are underway, with an all-party meeting scheduled for February 21 under the chairmanship of Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato. The meeting aims to ensure the smooth conduct of the session and address key legislative matters. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and leaders from various political parties will be present to discuss critical issues concerning the state.
A significant point of focus remains the BJP’s pending selection of its Leader of the Legislative Party. Additionally, a high-level meeting with state officials on security and logistics will also be held on the same day. The Legislative Assembly Secretariat has instructed government departments to submit bills and responses on time to prevent disruptions during proceedings.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Radhakrishna Kishore stated that budget preparations are in their final phase, following consultations with experts and citizens. He emphasized that the 2024-25 Jharkhand Budget will focus on holistic development, addressing the needs of all sections of society.
