Jharkhand braces for intense cold wave starting Jan 24

Ranchi, Jan 22: Jharkhand is bracing for a significant drop in temperatures starting January 24, leading to severe cold conditions across the state. Multiple districts, including the capital, are expected to experience a notable decrease in temperature, with urban areas of the capital likely to hover around eight degrees Celsius. This cold spell is anticipated to persist for the next two to three days.

The weather center forecasts fog in some areas during the morning, accompanied by clear skies throughout the day. Late-night temperatures are expected to plummet, with daytime maximum temperatures ranging between 23 to 24 degrees Celsius. This weather pattern is projected to remain unchanged until January 27.
