Ranchi, Aug. 30: After having seen the presentation of Jharkhand Bhawan construction, Chief Minister Raghubar Das approved the project and said that the work should be started through tender in the first week of November and completed within 20 months.
He said that the building construction department will monitor to ensure quality construction in stipulated timeframe.
Building construction secretary K. K. Soan said that this 7 storey building will be constructed on 70 decimal land and it will be completely five star green building-zero energy building.
On turn-key basis, Rs. 70-75 crores will be expensed on decoration of this building. A standard restaurant and industrial kitchen will be made on the ground floor. On the first floor, offices of Chief Minister, local commissioner, addl.
local commissioner and a convention hall with the capacity of 100 people to sit. A total number of 72 rooms will be there on this floor with special suite for CM and Governor on a floor. In addition to it, 2 more very important suites will be there in the building.
It will be the first building in New Delhi which will be barrier free. Divyangs will face no problems in entry or exit from the building.
The presentation before the CM was given by EFNRA Consultant which has been appointed by the Building Construction Department. Special parking arrangement will be made for 117 vehicles on the ground floor. There will be access control and CCTV facilities in the building.
Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, Sec to the CM Sunil Barnwal, building construction Sec K. K. Soan and Uday Patnaik of EFNRA Consultant were present on this occasion.
