Jamshedpur, October 19: The second day of the inaugural Jharkhand Basketball League, organized by the Jharkhand Basketball Association (JBA) at the Dhatkidih Community Center, continued with high energy and enthusiasm. Players demonstrated outstanding teamwork and skill, delivering thrilling performances throughout the day.

The match results are as follows: East Singhbhum Eagles defeated Ranchi Rangers 71-65, with Vimlesh from East Singhbhum named the best player. Hoppers won against Skippers 27-11, with Prahlad from Hoppers being the standout player. East Singhbhum Eagles triumphed over Ballers 46-24, with Abhas from Eagles recognized as the best player. Jamshedpur Jammers beat Skippers 32-21, with Aman from Jammers earning the best player title. Ranchi Rangers secured a 52-30 win over Hoopers, with Vishwajeet from Rangers named the best player. Ranchi Rangers defeated Ballers 47-26, with Avinash Thapa from Rangers excelling as the best player. East Singhbhum Eagles dominated Skippers 60-31, with Jagannath Gope from Eagles earning the best player award.
Special guest Dr. Kishore Oza, a renowned psychologist and counselor in Jharkhand, motivated the teams with his inspiring words. Key executive members of the JBA were present, including Olympian Harbhajan Singh (President), India team coach JP Singh (Secretary), Pradeep Mukherjee (Treasurer), and technical head Arif Aftab. Officials Jalal, Shabanul, Nagesh, Sajjad, Vijay, Nizam, Azhar, Kinker, Supriya, and Anjali were also on hand to oversee the matches.
In a special announcement, JBA Secretary JP Singh revealed plans for a basketball session dedicated to hearing-impaired individuals inspired by the league, aiming to boost their passion and skills in the sport.
