Girls pocket silver, boys had to be satisfied with bronze

Jamshedpur, Nov 7: Jhrkhand claimed a silver and bronze in the 2nd East Zone Sub-Junior Roll Ball Championship, which concluded in Guwahati, Assam on Sunday.
The state girls pocketed silver whereas the boys had to remain content with bronze.
The eves performed well and ensured a place in the finals where they lost to hosts Assam. The boys finished third, losing to Bihar.
Jharkhand team members Raimuni Hansda (girls) and Abeer Bagh (boys) were adjudged the best players of the two-day competition.
Ëxpressing happiness, Jharkhand Roll Ball Association secretary Chandeshwar Kumar said the players performed well. “The girls team could have won the gold but lost to Assam in the summit clash. However, we are satisfied with the show of our outfit in Guwahati.Besides Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh Meghalaya and hosts Assam were part of the championship.
The Jharkhand boys side comprised Shreys Shekhar, Abeer Nag, Amon Mudha, Shaurya Shandilya, Aarush Rajbinit Kunwar, Shreeyansh Sharma Devbrat Singh, Utkarsh Kumar Singh, Pranav Sahu, Abhinash Kumar and Aarav Pandey while Raimuni Hansda, Agrima Vats, Vishva Priya, Atisha Bharti, Anandita Das, Suhani Malhotra, Divyanshi Mishra, Trasha Kumari, Anya Anand, Pihoo Sahu and Shreya Sakshi represented the girls outfit..
Chandeshwar Sahu and Sarita accompanied the team as coach and manager, respectively while Jyoti Sahu went as an official
