Bengaluru, March 9: Master Athletic Association of Jharkhand team delivered a remarkable performance at the 45th All India Master Athletic Championship, held in Bengaluru, Karnataka, from March 4 to March 9, 2025. Competing under the leadership of President Vijay Singh and Secretary S.K. Tomar, the Jharkhand team secured a total of 24 medals in a highly competitive environment. These included 6 gold, 14 silver, and 4 bronze medals. In the men’s 85+ age group, BN Rao from Jamshedpur won a silver medal in the 100m race, In the women’s 30+ age group, Geeta Rani Hansda clinched silver in the 1,500m race, Anil Kumar Sah secured: Silver in the 10,000m race (men’s 50+ age group), Gold in the 10,000m race (men’s 70+ age group), Silver in the 1,500m race.

Master Athletic Association of Jharkhand’s President Vijay Singh, Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Tomar, and several well-wishers congratulated all medal winners and participants for their outstanding achievements. Their performances showcased Jharkhand’s sporting excellence at the national level, making the state proud.
