Jamshedpur, August 6: The Primary Department of JH Tarapore School organised the much-awaited interschool event, Convergence-2023, on the eve of Friendship Day, on Saturday. The event brought together students from various schools in the region for a celebration of camaraderie, wellness, and creativity, leaving participants and attendees with unforgettable memories.
Convergence-2023 focused on three core themes – Making Friends, Healthy Food, and Art and Craft, along with Advertisements. The diverse sessions aimed at the holistic development of the students.
Under the theme “Making Friends,” the sessions revolved around the concept of “Mighty Millets” to promote inclusivity and foster new connections. Interactive ice-breaking activities, team-building exercises, and engaging games created a friendly and supportive atmosphere, encouraging students to interact and form lasting bonds.

For the “Healthy Food” segment, Chef Supratim from Hotel Sonnet conducted a “Do It Yourself” session. The aim was to promote healthy eating habits and encourage a balanced lifestyle. Students were introduced to delicious recipes and enlightened with presentations on nutrition and sustainable food practices.
The “Art and Craft” sessions focused on nurturing creativity and artistic expression. Students had the opportunity to showcase their talents and learn new skills, exploring their artistic potential and appreciating the beauty of self-expression.
During the session titled “Vigyapan ki Duniya,” students presented their advertisements with great enthusiasm and passion, showcasing their creativity and marketing skills.
