Jamshedpur: The annual Recognition Day of JH Tarapore was held on Saturday. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Rubina Bodhanwala, managing trustee, Tarapore schools.
School officials said the year 2014 is the International Year of �Family Farming� .The emphasis is on Family Farms� which have formed the basic unit of the mostly agricultural economies of the developing nations.
The idea was highlighted by the mesmerizing dances performed by the student to celebrate a good harvest. The prize winners got their share of applause as they proudly received their awards in the fields of academic excellence, perseverance, good conduct and also for being the most responsible students.
Special prizes were awarded to students for their achievements in the various Olympiads, yoga, dance and social service. The primary school all rounder was Shaina Sana of Standard V.
