JFC opens third soccer school in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov. 16: Jamshedpur FC took another big step in their aim to develop football in the Jharkhand region by launching their third football school in association with RVS Academy, Mango. The club aims to provide a solid foundation for the children from RVS Academy to take their initial steps in learning the sport.

The football school opening was attended by RVS Academy Principal, Mitali Roy Choudhury and Jamshedpur FC’s Assistant Manager of Marketing & Operations, Jal Sonpal respectively.

The RVS Academy Principal, Mitali Roy Choudhury was ecstatic with the Club’s initiative as she said, “We are glad to have kicked-off the football school here at RVS Academy. Jamshedpur FC is a big name in Indian Football. Training in their football school is a huge motivation for these young kids. Seeing them, even the other kids are being motivated and are showing keen interest to be a part of Jamshedpur FC’s Grassroots Programme.”

Club official, Jal Sonpal added, “RVS Academy in Mango has one of the most ideal facilities to play football and we are happy to have begun with our Grassroots Programme here. We hope to nurture the talents here on a regular basis for the future.”

The training programme will include kids belonging to the age groups of U-8 and U-11. A total number of forty-four kids took part in the inauguration of the football school and were supervised by two professional grass root coaches.
