Jamshedpur: Not to deprive Jamshedpur FC supporters of the pulsating moments of their team�s away match against tough opponents North East United FC at Guwahati, a Fan Park near the Dorabji Tata Park was witness to high adrenalin flow among the huge home supporters who thronged the venue.
The organizers left no stone unturned to make the already electrifying atmosphere more interesting. During the lemon break, a contest was held for the football enthusiasts. The results were also announced and the lucky ones received merchandise and free tickets for JFC�s next home match against Kerala Blasters on October 29.
A merchandise stall had also been set up where JFC replica jerseys, key rings, personalized coffee mugs, water sippers, pens and the team�s pin badges were on sale.
There was a wave of sighs in disappointment when in the 20th minute of the match Ogbeche scored for North East United FC. But with JFC matching skill for skill, rekindled the spirit of enthusiasm and in the second half�s 49th minute Farukh Choudhary netted in an outstanding equalizer. Fan frenzy marked the goal. The JFC Fan Park had a happy crowd emerging out into the night with fingers crossed for the next encounter of their team against Kerala Blasters on October 29.
