Jamshedpur: City-based social organization Jeevan has intensified awareness drive against suicide. The outfit is spreading awareness among the people, especially youths, to stop suicides. A competition was held for the students of eight schools and three colleges of the city.
The participants took part in plays and dance. According to the outfit members, the awareness level on suicides has increased in the society. The rate of suicides may be brought down considerably if the awareness drive continues.
