JEE Advanced Jamshedpur topper wants to make India technologically strong

Jamshedpur, June 18: Jamshedpur students once again displayed their caliber in IIT-JEE Advanced exams, whose results were declared on Thursday.

Akash Kumar Dutta, a student from Jamshedpur Public School who took coaching at Prerna classes was ranked 144 (AIR) and topped Jharkhand.

Resident of Bhalubasa, Akash said that it�s a continuous effort all through the year and spending quality time during the day for better results. �I gave 12-13 hours a day without coaching all around the year without missing. One should complete the syllabus a lot before the exams which would provide help during the exams to revise,� said Dutta.

Jamshedpur topper who comes from financially weak family wants to get into IIT-Bombay or IIT-Delhi and study computer science or Electrical Engineering.

�My father Mihir Dutta runs a xerox, mobile recharge shop in Sidhgora and it�s very difficult to manage the coaching and household expense with the amount my father earns but the financial support of my uncles led me this far. My parents have been supportive all through which provided a backing to me to perform well and make them proud�, added Akash.

He further said that I want to go abroad after my studies from IIT and return back to India to make it technologically strong. Though I was expecting a rank under 100 but I�m satisfied with the outcome, said Akash whose sister Priyanka Dutta is in her 4th year of B.Tech at Bhubaneshwar.

My mother Ruma Dutta is a housewife and has worked very hard to help us grow and its time we give her back the love and care we got from her all these years. Akash scored 300 marks in JEE Mains while he passed out with 95% in ISC class 12 from Jamshedpur Public School.
