Jamshedpur : Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) today demanded the state government to immediately formulate a “domicile policy” for Jharkhand reserving the third and fourth-grade government jobs for the tribals and sadans who are recognised as the original settlers of the state.
The activists staged demonstration at DC office. Ishwar Soren said a large number of youth in Jharkhand are being deprived of government jobs due to the lack of a domicile policy.
“Every state in India has its domicile policy that reserves third and fourth-grade jobs in the state for its own people. But, 10 years on, Jharkhand has failed to introduce such a policy,” he saidKrishna , Manoj Mukhi , Gopal, Nirmila Tirkey were present.
