Jamshedpur, Feb 27: Ujjal Chakraborti, managing director, JCAPCPL (Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing & Processing Company Private Limited) has been elected as the Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council for the year 2023-24.

Ranjot Singh, managing director, Emdet Jamshedpur Pvt Ltd has been elected as the Vice Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council for the year 2023-24. Their names were announced at the CII Jharkhand Annual Day held at a hotel in Jamshedpur on Monday, February 27.

Ujjal Chakraborti has 32 years of experience in the Steel Industry. Prior to joining JCAPCPL as the managing director, he worked in various leadership roles in Tata Steel and served Tubes Business, Industrial By Product Divisions, as Executive In Charge, and at Tata Steel BSL as its Chief Operating Officer.

Ranjot Singh, an accomplished businessman in the field of manufacture of auto parts, foundry and real estate with an experience of over 23 years. Apart from being a proud recipient of awards for Best Development, Timely Delivery and Quality year after year from leading companies like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Volvo Eicher Motors, Ranjot Singh has held prestigious positions of responsibility, including Past Chairman of CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council & Past President Rotary Club of Jamshedpur, Steel city, etc.
