Jamshedpur, September 22: Jayant Kumar Bhuyan, who is Coach of Tata Steel Chess Centre is now qualified as National Chess Coach.
He cleared the written examination at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar in the month of August 2016. He received his �Diploma of National Instructor� recently. This programme was organized and conducted jointly by World Chess Federation(FIDE), Asian Chess Federation & All India Chess Federation(AICF).
Total 39 participants from different part of the country had attended the seminar. Senior FIDE Trainers Lanka Ravi (IM) and Shekhar Chandra Sahu (IM) had conducted the seminar aimed to educating , certifying and qualifying Chess Teachers on an International basis.
The course of the seminar based on physical and psychological factor, nutritional practice of chess Grandmasters, difference between boys and girls in chess, chess literature, trainers common mistakes and prepare for opening, middle and end games.
Jayant Kumar Bhuyan is engaged in Tata Chess Centre since the year 1989 when it was established. He is only Qualified Chess Coach of the City and long 27 years of service as a Chess Coach. Apart from Chess Coaching, he is a Qualified Chess Referee (International Chess Arbiter).
�I am very much obliged to Tata Steel , who helped me a lot to attending the seminar. I am very much thankful to Mukul V. Choudhari (Administrator TFA & Sports), Bagicha Singh, Avinash Kumar, they helped me lot”, said Jayant Kumar Bhuyan after qualifying as national coach.
Under his guidance many children won the District and State level Chess Championships. This year Dyuti Chakrabarty won 2nd position in the U- 9 State Championship and she played National U- 9 at Jalandhar, Punjab and P. Shruthi also played National U- 17 at Kolkata and also qualified for National U-19 to be held at Rajmundari (AP).
