Jamshedpur, Nov 22: Jasicon 2014, the 13th Annual conference of the Association of Surgeons of India, Jharkhand was inaugurated today by A B Lall, Plant Head, Tata Motors Jamshedpur and Dr. Adarsh Chaudhary, Director of GI Surgery at Medanta Medicine, Gurgaon. Dr. Chaudhary also delivered an oration on �How to improve results of surgery”.
Orations on topics involving General Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Cancer surgery, plastic surgery, urosurgery and cardiac surgery were delivered by eminent national faculty. There were two symposiums on “Carcinoma prostate” and “Role of laparoscopic in GI malignancy”.
There was a master video session, and interactive sessions between delegates and visiting faculty. The Annual General Meeting of Jharkhand ASI was also held.
All the delegates actively participated and greatly benefited from the scientific sessions.
