Ranchi, May 25: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Thursday said that the Japla Cement Factory, which has been closed for years, will re-open soon and the state government has also held talks with SAIL and soon raw materials would be made available to the cement factory, which would provide employment to thousands of people.
Addressing a mass marriage ceremony at a school at Hariharganj, Palamu, CM further said that giving education is more important than marrying the girls at a much younger age.
‘Girls’ education is important from every point of view and educating girls means educating two families. Girls can stand with adverse situation and everyone should endeavour to educate the daughters before giving them away in marriage’, added Das. He appealed for mass participation in this awareness program.
Raghubar further said that at least 100 youths will be skilled in every panchayat to stop migration. Referring to migration from palamu and Garhwa, he said that the state government is serious about it and doing everything possible to stop it.
MP B.D. Ram attracted the CM’s attention towards expansion of irrigation schemes in the state. MLA Kushwaha Shivpoojan requested the CM to sort out unemployment problem in the region.
