Ranchi, April 25: Kajumi Indo, Consulate General of Japan, met the Jharkhand chief secretary Rajbala Verma at the Project Building here on Monday.
On his courtesy visit, Indo praised the state government’s endeavor in agriculture, IT and industry sectors. He said that Japan wants to invest in agriculture and industry sector in Jharkhand.
Indo said that the state is rich in natural resources and, hence, there are lots of possibilities for industrial and agricultural development.
During discussion, Verma said that the state government is promoting and coordinating industries with a view to attract companies to the state.
Beside this, she said that many national and multinational companies are desirous to invest in Jharkhand.
She said that Japan can invest in engineering and steel industries, besides agriculture-based industries.
