Jamshedpur: In a bid to address the grievances of citizens, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner, Ananya Mittal, conducted a Janta Darbar. The event witnessed 60 complainants presenting their personal and social issues, with several applications resolved promptly during the session.

The grievances ranged across a variety of sectors, including land acquisition payments, delays in Maniya Samman disbursement, education loans, illegal liquor sales, Panchayat development, school enrollment, Apna Bazaar shop allocations, census-related issues, job demands, disability certificates, pensions, and other basic facilities.
Responding to the complaints, the District Magistrate assured timely and appropriate action. He emphasized the importance of coordination between departmental officers, block offices, and other concerned bodies to ensure grievances are addressed without unnecessary delays.

During the session, multiple applications were resolved instantly, while others were forwarded to relevant departments with clear instructions for expeditious handling. Mittal reiterated that accountability and timely responses are crucial in maintaining public trust.
