Jan 15 deadline for enlisting Sukanya Yojana beneficiaries

Jamshedpur: A meeting on the implementation of Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana was held at the Jamshedpur Collectorate on Thursday. It was jointly chaired by the directors of National Education Project (NEP) and District Rural Development Authority (DRDA).
The NEP director Ranjana Mishra directed district education department officials to prepare a list of girls eligible to avail the benefits of Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana by 15th January. She directed the district civil surgeon to make available a list of women having benefitted under Ladli Laxmi Yojana during institutional delivery or those holding Antyodaya cards. She further asked the LDM to open bank accounts of all beneficiaries of Sukanya Yojana and get the same linked through Aadhar Number.
Today�s meeting was also attended by district education officer, district superintendent of education, district supply officer, district social welfare officer in-charge, child development project officers (CDPOs) and all women observers.
