Jamshedpur, February 23: The Third Edition of Jam@Street, organised by Tata Steel UISL in collaboration with Tata Power, Jojobera, was successfully held at Tinplate, Jamshedpur, drawing an overwhelming crowd of over 25,000 attendees. The event, which commenced at 6:30 AM and stretched from the Tinplate Kali Mandir Roundabout to the Nildih Traffic Signal, proved to be a grand celebration of community engagement and public participation.

The primary focus of this edition was to encourage residents to provide feedback on cleanliness in Jamshedpur as part of the city’s initiative to secure the No. 1 spot in Swachhta Survekshan-2024.

Tata Power led community engagement through impactful stalls and a compelling nukkad naatak:
◦ Club Enerj, Eco Crew, & Climate Crew educated children on energy conservation, climate action, and sustainable living through interactive activities.
◦ Anokha Dhaaga showcased handcrafted jute products, vanity bags, cushions, and nightwear made by women artisans empowered by our initiative. The stall featured products from Anokha Dhaaga Centers in Jamshedpur and Odisha, aiming to foster economic empowerment and sustainability.
◦ Pay Autention & E-Sanidhya raised awareness on neurodiversity and autism, offering digital tools and early screening solutions for inclusive care. A nukkad naatak further amplified autism awareness, drawing crowds and fostering inclusive mindsets.
Tata Power Skill Development Institute conducted awareness about ‘Powering Sustainable Future’.

Also, Spreading awareness about its solar rooftop for both commercial and residential purpose.
Tata Power’s participation at Jam@Street not only engaged the community but also drove real impact. The stalls were visited by senior leaders of the company, including the CEO – IEL & Chief, Tata Power Jamshedpur and the Chief of Projects (Generation).

Jam@Street featured a wide range of activities catering to different interests, making it an exciting experience for all age groups. Attendees participated in energetic sessions of badminton, Zumba workouts, and enjoyed an array of healthy food options.
The event also showcased live musical performances, thrilling basketball and karate demonstrations, adventure sports, painting activities, and temporary tattoo stalls. The lively Jumba dance session was a major highlight, keeping the energy levels high throughout the event.
