Jamshedpur’s Utkal Association to shift behind Sakchi Rabindra Bhavan

Jamshedpur: Utkal Association, Sakchi situated on Tata Sub lease land since 1934, will be relocated behind the Rabindra Bhavan. This move comes as part of Tata Steel’s expansion plans, offering the association a new space. The proposal for this relocation has been approved by the Executive Committee of Utkal Association, said Tarun Kumar Mohanty, General Secretary, Sakchi Utkal Association.

Addressing a press meet at the Association on Sunday, Mohanty provided details and mentioned that after approval from the Executive Committee, the proposal would be presented in the annual general meeting of Utkal Association. The AGM is scheduled for January 7 at 4:30 PM in the association’s auditorium. The relocation is expected to proceed upon approval from the AGM of Utkal Association.

Tarun Kumar Mohanty urged all members to attend the AGM to share their views.

Furthermore, Mohanty informed that if any member has questions regarding the proposal, they can submit them seven days prior. Dr Sanjay Patra, Senior Vice President of Utkal Association and Badal Bhuiyan, Vice President were also present at the press conference.
