Jamshedpur, August 25: In the recently concluded National Executive meeting of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) held in Nagpur, Jharkhand’s business leader and former President of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Suresh Sonthalia was elected as the National Joint General Secretary. Additionally, Jamshedpur’s Kishore Golchha was elected as a National Executive Member.
Representatives from across the country participated in the two-day meeting and discussed issues faced by around eight crore businessmen nationwide. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of empowering women traders.
During the elections, Brijmohan Agarwal of Rourkela was elected Chairman, B.C. Bhartiya of Nagpur as President, and Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal as General Secretary and Suresh Sonthalia as National Joint General Secretary. Kishore Golchha was elected to the National Working Committee.
Upon their return to Jamshedpur, both leaders were warmly welcomed by various business associations, CAs, advocates, and other dignitaries. The grand reception highlighted the respect and recognition Sonthalia and Golchha had garnered in the business community.
