Jamshedpur’s Suraj Pratap Singh selected for nationals in SGFI Badminton Competition

Jamshedpur, Sep 27: Suraj Pratap Singh, an Inter student from Abdul Bari Memorial College, has been selected for the Nationals in the School Games Federation Of India (SGFI) Open Selection Badminton Competition under Khelo Jharkhand. This accomplishment comes after Singh’s impressive performance in the state competitions, where he became the State Champion in Under-17 Singles and Doubles, as well as in Under-19 Singles.

His selection for the Nationals has brought immense pride to his college, with professors and the principal expressing their happiness over the achievement. Singh, who dreams of representing India in badminton, attributed his success to hard work and dedication. He also expressed gratitude to Prabhakar Rao, Secretary of the Badminton Association, for his support.
