Ground breaking ceremony performed

Jamshedpur, Jan 16: The ground breaking ceremony (Bhumi Pujan) for the expanded campus of Srinath University at Dobo was performed on Tuesday, January 16. The prayer rituals were led by members of Gayatri Kunj and students of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Chancellor Sukhdev Mahto, Pro Chancellor Gurudev Mahto, Trustees Anita Mahto and Moumita Mahto and Advisors Dr Rama Shankar and Dinesh Ranjan Mahto along with others offered prayers on the occasion.
Pro Chancellor Gurudev Mahto stated on the occasion, “Given the rapid rate at which Srinath University is growing, there is a necessity to have a bigger space for optimal growth and development of all the departments. Hence, the new space will offer better infrastructure, a fresh load of new departments and a better campus life amidst the green of nature.”
The event was graced by Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahato who expressed her happiness on the choice of the location when she observed, “I am very happy that Srinath University is making such progress in bringing education to this area. This will allow students of this area to pursue a number of courses and move on towards a brighter and prospective future.”
Chancellor Sri Sukhdev Mahato averred, “We will ensure that we provide world class infrastructure and facilities in this new campus. We plan to open a number of new departments when we shift and we hope to contribute to the progress of education in our city.”
The event concluded with the distribution of Bhog among all present on the occasion.
