Jamshedpur, October 31. Sidgora police station in-charge Ranjit Kumar has been suspended by IG Pankaj Kamboj.
Ranjit Kumar is accused of conducting a substandard investigation in the case of theft at the constable’s house.
In this regard, Ranjit Kumar was suspended after review on Monday. Actually, in November 2022, lakhs of rupees were stolen from the house of police personnel Upendra Singh, resident of road number one of Sidgora police station.
However, the police disclosed the matter and sent the accused to jail. Upendra alleged that Rs 12 lakh was stolen from his house, but the police showed very few items in the seizure.
Here, regarding the matter, SSP Kishore Kaushal said that till now no document related to suspension has come to him.
