Jamshedpur: Shreya Adharji from Jamshedpur has brought pride to the state by winning the Miss India 2026 title at a national-level fitness competition held in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Her achievement has made Jamshedpur and Jharkhand shine on the national stage.
The competition, titled ‘Mine Classic Season-2 A’, was organised under the Uttar Pradesh Bodybuilding and Fitness Association at Rajmahal in Barabanki. The event was inaugurated by MLA Suresh Yadav in the presence of several dignitaries, including former MP Upendra Singh, Bollywood actor Jeet Sharma, IFBBF Secretary Mahfuz Alam, UP BBFA Secretary Anees Ahmed and Mr Asia Kuldeep Yadav.
Athletes from different states such as Indore, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Delhi and Noida participated in various categories, including bodybuilding and physique events. Shreya secured first place in the women’s physique category with an impressive performance.
Officials said hundreds of players competed, and the top five in each category were awarded trophies and cash prizes. Shreya was honoured on stage for her victory.
Speaking on the occasion, actor Jeet Sharma said such competitions motivate youth towards fitness and discipline. Coach Kuldeep Yadav praised Shreya’s success and expressed confidence in her bright future.
