Renowned Ragis to Perform Gurbani Kirtan in Memory of Guru Arjan Dev Ji
Jamshedpur, June 18: Gurudwara Sahib Sakchi will organize a grand Kirtan Darbar on June 21 to commemorate the martyrdom of the fifth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji , and other revered Sikh martyrs. The religious gathering will be held from 7 pm to 10 pm and is expected to attract a large number of devotees from Jamshedpur and nearby areas.
According to Gurudwara Management Committee President Sardar Nishan Singh, the programme will begin with the recitation of Sri Rehras Sahib from 6:30 pm to 7 pm, followed by Gurbani Kirtan by renowned Ragi jathas.
The main attraction of the event will be performances by celebrated Ragi Bibi Jaspreet Kaur from Patiala and Bhai Gurvinder Singh ‘Gafil’ from Delhi. Hazuri Ragi of Gurudwara Sahib Sakchi, Bhai Narayan Singh, will also perform Gurbani Kirtan. Devotees will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in spiritual hymns and seek blessings through Gurbani.
Nishan Singh urged members of the Sangat to participate in large numbers, stating that the teachings of the Guru Sahibs continue to guide society even today. He said all arrangements, including seating, langar, and other facilities, have been completed.
General Secretary Paramjit Singh Kale appealed to devotees to arrive on time and take part in the programme. Guru Ka Attut Langar will be served after the event.
A poster for the Kirtan Darbar was also released in the presence of committee members and trustees.
