Jamshedpur’s MGM Hospital presented COVID care utility kits

Jamshedpur, May 9: At a time when coronavirus infections are peaking leaving in its trail a lot of requirements to combat the pandemic attack, social organizations and activists are coming forward in their own ways to help ease the emergent needs. Madhuri Dixit Nene fan and popular social worker Pappu Sardar on Sunday presented three wheelchairs, blood pressure measuring gauges, oxymeters, sugar level indicators, dead body covers protective hand gloves, sanitizers and masks to the MGMC Hospital in the presence of ADM Law and Order Nand Kishor Lal, former MGMC Hospital Superintendent Dr RY Chowdhary, Health Minister Banna Gupta’s MGM Hospital representative Rajesh Bahadur among others.

Speaking on the occasion, ADM Nand Kishor Lal observed, “Pappu Ji is our brand ambassador and a well known social activist who takes the duty of helping others as his personal responsibility be it in the realms of cleaning drives, distributing free masks and sanitizers or helping out in traffic matters. This is another example of his concern for the COVID positive patients as he is gifting these vital equipment for the COVID Care unit at MGM Hospital.”

On his part, Pappu revealed that it was cine star Madhuri Dixit Nene’s wish that he lent a helping hand to the cause of COVID patients. “She (Madhuri) is my elder sister and her wish is my command. Recently, my wife who had tested coronavirus positive underwent treatment successfully in the COVID Care Unit of MGM Hospital. During her treatment there, I noticed a paucity of certain treatment gears and these gifts are my humble tribute to the valiant Corona Warriors and the brothers and sisters undergoing treatment there.”
