Jamshedpur’s ‘Lagaaw’ selected for prestigious Bhopal National Short Film Festival

Jamshedpur, Jan 8: The prestigious Bhopal  National Short Film Festival organized by Chitra Bharati which will be held between February 18 and 20 is reputed for selecting the best presentations in the genre. Jamshedpur has hit the bull’s eye with, ‘Lagaaw, The Concern’ jointly produced by Media Mantra Acting Academy and R Motion Pictures. This 22 minute engrossing narrative is a pricking tale of senior citizens in the light of social and family concerns. The celluloid venture moves out of the usual zones of loneliness and family concerns and upholds the elements of positivity amidst the new generation.

The lead character in ‘Lagaaw, The Concern’ is played by theatre and cine thespian Hari Mittal and his performance is a gem that sees veteran filmmaker, Shiv Kumar Prasad at his best.
