Jamshedpur’s KPS Kadma School encourages students to celebrate cracker-free Diwali

 

Jamshedpur, Nov 10: To sensitize students to save the environment by celebrating a green Diwali and the need to help the poor by donating food and clothes to spread the joy of togetherness and love, Kerala Public School Kadma celebrated Diwali on Friday with great enthusiasm and fervor. The school was decorated with diyas and lights hoping that this festival of light brings bright sparkles of joy and happiness in everyone’s life. To make it a joyful day a cultural extravaganza was presented by a few students. They presented songs, speeches, dances, and a skit to express their affection and happiness. Everyone enjoyed the show thoroughly and expressed their joy and gratitude with a thundering applause. The function concluded with the address by the head mistress Alamelu Ravishankar. She offered her warm wishes to the children and reiterated that children should celebrate pollution free Diwali in its purest form by lighting lamps and sharing with the less fortunate. She urged the students not to burst crackers.

To mark Diwali celebrations, an exhibition was also put up, where Diwali house, Lanterns, Diya decoration was done. The students displayed their talents by decorating the classes and corridors with vibrant colors, intricate rangoli designs and various other embellishments. The whole school reverberated with energy and enthusiasm hoping that this Diwali would bring utmost peace and prosperity in everybody’s life.
