Jamshedpur’s Kanishk gets 43rd rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020

Jamshedpur, Sep 25: The final result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020 has been declared. Students of Jharkhand have once again proved their mettle.
Kanishk of Jamshedpur has secured 43rd rank. Utkarsh Kumar of Hazaribagh has got 55th rank, Bhavna Kumari 376th rank and Pooja Kumari of Bundu under Ranchi district has got 472th rank.
Loyola School alumnus Kanishk’s father Prabhat Sharma worked as head of Corporate Communications in Tata Steel, Jamshedpur. 
He was working as Administrative Head of BSL Project Angul before he retired last month. Kanishk’s mother Rashmi Sharma is homemaker.

Kanish tasted success last year also in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam when result of 89 students was released in the reserve category of Civil Services Examination-2019. Kanish ranked 36th. Kanishk hails from  Chichaura village of Konch police station in Gaya. Kanishk completed his schooling from Loyola School. Later, he pursued his BTech degree in Electronics and Communication from BITS Pilani in 2018. 
He worked with Royal Bank of Scotland and later started preparing for civil services. 
Currently he is undergoing training for Assistant Commissioner of Police in Delhi. He studied for almost five hours daily and had prepared a routine while preparing for the exam.
