Jamshedpur’s father-daughter suicide case: 2 more accused surrender


Jamshedpur, July 4: Two other accused in the sensational suicide of father and daughter duo near Jugsalai railway crossing on July 1 surrendered before Jugsalai police. Rajendra Singh Bittu and his wife Harjit Kaur surrendered before Jugsalai police on Sunday. Earlier on Friday, the main accused Paramjit Singh Saini had surrendered in the court and his wife Jasbir Saini was arrested by police from Adityapur and were searching for the other two accused and exerting pressure on their arrest which made them to surrender today. 

Incidentally, father daughter duo of Pritpal Singh Saini and Baljit Saini before committing suicide by coming under a running goods train near Jugsalai railway crossing on July had left a suicide note blaming his brother Pritpal Singh and his wife and another brother Rajendra Singh and wife for forcing him to end his life. On the basis of a statement by the deceased wife Nisha, a case of abetmen to suicide was lodged at Jugsalai thana. A case had already been lodged in Bistupur thana in 2020 December against the accused for raping Nisha.
