Jamshedpur’s Divya Ratna honoured by Bihar govt for her solo song presentation

Jamshedpur, Oct 13:  Class VII student of Blue Bells English School in Jamshedpur, the Nightingale-voiced Divya Ratna drew top honour for her solo song in a virtual meet organized by the Department of Art, Culture and Youth Affairs (Directorate of Cultural Affairs), Government of Bihar. Divya Ratna was selected in solo singing category and was honoured with a certificate, memento and cash prize.

Winning recognitions with her mellifluous and multi faceted tonal richness, has become a habit for this young Jamshedpur singing sensation. It came as no surprise that she was the only singing artiste in her category to be selected from Jharkhand. Earlier, Divya Ratna emerged a winner in the competition organized under Jharkhand Lok Sanskriti Utsav Online- 2021 under the aegis of Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata Ministry of Culture, Government of India. On that occasion Divya Ratna’s song video was selected for Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre and was a sensation on the Centre’s YouTube channel.

Divya Ratna’s music mentor is Monica Dutta. She is a popular child artiste on DD and Akashvani. She started on her musical pursuit at the age of six years and has won kudos on several social platforms where she has rendered songs in her mellifluous voice. Sardar Suvarna Singh Ratan, Chairman, Blue Bells English High School and Secretary Kiran Kaur have congratulated Divya Ratna on her latest success and wished her a bright future. Similarly, School Principal, Lipika Chakraborty, said that Divya ratna will nbe provided all support to further her musical journey.
