City reports 102 positive, 171 recoveries, 3 deaths
Jamshedpur, June 3: Jamshedpur reported 102 Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, June 4. City also saw 171 people recover of the virus while it also registered 3 coronavirus-related deaths. The state, too, witnessed a massive fall in infections and fatalities.
The overall death toll in the East Singhbhum has reached 1032 and the total cases 50441.It appears to be early signs that the more dangerous Covid wave is receding from the city. The Steel City’s case positivity rate has also dropped to 1.14 percent.
The positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in Jamshedpur is around 1.14 per cent after East Singhbhum conducted over 8500 tests in the last 24 hours. The Steel City tested 8951 samples, of which, 102 turned out positive while 171 people recovered from the Covid-19 on Friday, June 4.
Meanwhile, 3 deaths were recorded in the same duration. The continuous high number of tests have pushed the positivity rate further down to 1.14 per cent, the government data showed.
The recovery rate has climbed to 96.63% while the active cases have come down to 765.
171 positive people recovered of the virus on Friday pushing the recovery mark to 48644.

City reported 3 deaths on Friday, while district’s positive cases tally has mounted to 50441. According to the data provided by the East Singhbhum district health department on Friday 3 fatalities were due to the Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours. The death toll has climbed to 1032.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 356656 test per million in the district.
As per the records of health department out of 8951 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 102 were found positive.
Over 8500 COVID-19 tests, including 2199 RT-PCR and 6164 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96.63% while the mortality rate is 2.05%.
So far in Jamshedpur 954121 samples have been collected out of which 949417 have been tested and 898976 have turned out to be negative.
