Jamshedpur, August 11: On the martyrdom day of immortal Shahid Khudiram Bose, who sacrificed his life at the age of 18 years for India’s freedom movement, the Yuva Buddhijeevi Seva Samiti organized a bike rally to pay tribute to the young revolutionary. The rally, which began at the Bagunhatu football ground, was led by the committee’s president, Tarun Dey.

Around 9 am, thousands of people gathered at the football ground to honor the memory of Khudiram Bose. A tribute was paid to the martyr, followed by two minutes of silence. Under Tarun Dey’s leadership, the participants set out for Mango, passing through Sidgora Road Number 28, Agrico Light Signal, and Litti Chowk, before arriving at the Mango bus stand. There, they joined members of the Banga Bandhu group.

The rally culminated with a foot-march and bike procession to the statue of Khudiram Bose at Mango roundabout, where participants paid their respects by garlanding the statue.

During the event, Tarun Dey stated that today’s youth were forgetting the contributions of martyrs like Khudiram Bose, who sacrificed their lives for the country at such a young age. He urged the central government to posthumously award Khudiram Bose the Bharat Ratna and to declare a national holiday on his death anniversary.

The event was attended by thousands of participants, including Gurucharan Kisku, Anubhav Sinha, Surendra Das, Anupam Kumar Singh, Arjun Rao, Ravindra Master, Nageshwar Rao, and Machhinder Nishad.
