Jamshedpur youth rapes deaf and mute 10-year-old girl

Jamshedpur: A 10-year-old deaf and dumb girl was allegedly raped by a 23-year-old neighbour in Sonari’s Khuntadih on Tuesday late evening. The incident came to surface after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint with the police.

The police have identified the accused as Deep Machua. The victim’s mother has filed a complaint against Machua, alleging that he took advantage of her daughter’s disability and committed the heinous crime.

According to the victim’s mother, the incident occurred when the girl had stepped out of her house to play. When she returned, her mother noticed that the button on her pant was open and upon further inspection, found bloodstains on her diaper. The mother immediately questioned the accused, who then fled the scene. The victim has been admitted to MGM Hospital for medical examination.

The police have been informed and an investigation is underway. The accused is still at large and the police are working to apprehend him.
