Jamshedpur: A 26-year-old youth, Mohammed Saif, was injured as the pistol he was putting in his waist accidentally went off at Kana Dungri under Kapali police station out-post area near Mango this morning.
Saif has sustained the bullet injury in the waist and was rushed to the MGM Medical College Hospital.�
Police said the injured who is a resident of Azadnagar in Mango had gone to Kana Dungri along with his friends for a government land and had fired in the air for intimidating the protestors. The police have taken Saif into custody.
