Jamshedpur, January 29: Miscreants attacked a youth in an attempt to snatch his mobile at Telco while he was returning home on Sunday.
The victim identified as Avinash, was returning home on Sunday in Mahanand Basti under Telco police station area when he alleged that two miscreants on bike stopped him and wanted to snatch his mobile.
When he did not give the mobile, they thrashed and attacked him on the head with a stone which led to injury.
Avinash told that he was holding the mobile in his hand. Hearing the commotion, more people reached there. Getting a chance, Avinash somehow ran away from there to his home. On getting information about the incident, the family members took Avinash and informed about the incident at the Telco police station. Police has sent Avinash to MGM Hospital for treatment.
