Jamshedpur, June 26: A 19 year-old youth, identified as Danish Siddiqui, a resident of Kapali, drowned in Satnala Dam at Doba on Sunday. His body was fished out by Kapali police with the help of local divers.
Sources said the incident occurred around 6 am when Danish went to bathe in the dam with his six friends. While bathing, Danish slipped into the deep waters and drowned. He shouted for help but no one came to his rescue. Later his friends informed his family about the incident.
