Jamshedpur, July 2: Mangal Singh (26) a resident of Gandhinagar township under Burmamines police station, committed suicide by hanging himself on Saturday night.
On getting information about the incident, the relatives informed the police. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent it for postmortem. The relatives told that Mangal was addicted to drugs and did not do any work. On Saturday night, he came home in a drunken state and went to his room. When everyone went to call him for dinner at 10 pm, his room was found locked from inside.
When the door did not open for a long time, the police was informed about it. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and broke open the door. On breaking the door, it was found that Mangal had hanged himself with the help of a rope in a pipe fixed in the ceiling of asbestos sheet.
