Jamshedpur youth arrested for entering girl’s house with arms

Jamshedpur, Jan 10: Kadma police have arrested a youth for threatening the girl with a weapon. After 9 days of registering the case, the police took the youth into custody and sent him to jail. The incident took place at the Farm Area under Kadma police station area. The youth forcibly entered the house of a girl of Bharti Vidyalaya Colony. He also threatened to kill the girl with a country-made pistol.

The police have caught the accused youth Md Irfan in this case. He is a resident of Gauri Shankar Road in Jugsalai area. On Monday, the police sent the accused to jail. Police station in-charge Manoj Kumar Thakur said that the accused was arrested from his house. A case was registered against him on the statement of the girl’s father.

On the night of January 1, the youth along with one of his companions had forcibly entered the girl’s house. A knife was placed on the girl’s head. He tried to kidnap the girl forcibly.

Many leaders of VHP and BJYM had reached the police station demanding the arrest of the accused. The second accused in the case is currently absconding. Police are conducting raids to arrest him.
