Jamshedpur Workers’ College students stage demonstration demanding repair of dilapidated College Road

Jamshedpur, Oct 30: The students of Jamshedpur Workers’ College staged a  demonstration at Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) on Saturday. 
The students gheraoed the office MMC demanding the cleanliness of the dilapidated condition of the college road and the garbage scattered around. This program was led by All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU).


Kolhan president Hemant Pathak said that these problems have corresponded more than five times to Deepak Sahay, special officer of MMC . 


Despite this, no work was started by MMC. More than 10 thousand students come to Jamshedpur Workers College to study and no one is worried about the condition of the road and the garbage.


The gherao-cum-dharna program continued from 9 am to 12 noon on Saturday. During this, a demand was made to construct the college road, clean the mess in front of the main gate of the college. Simultaneously, there was a demand to build a garden in the waste area and to surround it with bamboo. 


Hundreds of students including Kolhan President Hemant Pathak, Rajesh Mahto, Saheb Bagati, Vikas Rajak, Kundan Jha, Balema Devgam, Rituraj Yadav, Priya Kumari, Muskan Kumari, Shubham Kumar were present on the occasion.
