Jamshedpur: Workers accuse Tata Steel contractor of holding back salaries 

Jamshedpur, October 28: The contractor has paid salaries to some of the 25-30 workers retrenched by Tata Steel contractor M/s Ajay Associate on the orders of the factory inspector.

But due to not making full and final settlement of these workers, notice pay and retrenchment compensation have not been paid.

Johar Jharkhand Workers Federation had earlier complained about this matter to the factory inspector. Taking cognizance of this, the factory inspector had ordered the inspector to give full and final settlement of the removed workers.

Despite this, the contractor compensated by just paying the outstanding salary and did not pay even the outstation library to  four laborers  Sonu, Vishal, Vikas and Amarjeet .
